• Wash the tattoo 3-4 times a day using fragrance-free antibacterial soap and gently pat dry with a clean towel.
• After the third day, apply a very thin layer of fragrance-free moisturizer after washing. Always wash your hands before applying cream.
• Before reapplying moisturizer, wash off the previous layer with water and soap.
• Use only fragrance-free antibacterial soap when washing your tattoo.
• Curel (Red or Green label)
• Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream
• Aquaphor Healing Ointment
• Direct sun exposure.
• Swimming (pools, beach, or any body of water) until fully healed.
• Exercises that stretch the tattooed area for the first one or two weeks.
• Touching the tattoo with dirty hands or letting pets/others touch it.
• Wearing tight clothing over the tattooed area.
• Scratching or picking at peeling skin—let it fall off naturally.
• Using Vaseline, alcohol, or hand sanitizer on the tattoo.
• Using sunscreen on the tattoo before it is fully healed.
